The project!:

An exceptional opportunity awaits to join the Hackett Merchandising team as a Merchandise Specialist.

What will the role entail?.

This role promises a diverse and thrilling experience, encompassing the following responsibilities:

Driving Business:

  • Generating weekly Monday morning analyses and ad hoc reports to identify commercial opportunities and risks promptly.
  • Engaging in discussions concerning previous season trade and its influence on the upcoming season's planning.
  • Delivering end-of-season analysis to aid the Merchandise Director in formulating the business's range strategy.

Systems Management:

  • Leveraging available software tools to swiftly produce critical merchandising information.
  • Overseeing the entire product lifecycle, from code creation to updating product drops, and maintaining precise merchandising data within the system.
  • Ensuring accurate maintenance of selling prices in SAP.
  • Embracing and adapting to new systems introduced to the business, such as Business Intelligence.

Brand Awareness:

  • In-depth comprehension of the Brand's customer profile across diverse markets and regions.
  • Identification and proposal of ideas to align product strategy with the brand profile.
  • Regular store and competitor visits to discern potential risks and opportunities.

Job competences:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
  • At least 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Fluent in English; Spanish proficiency is advantageous.
  • Proficiency in IT skills, especially adeptness in data manipulation using Excel, is essential.
  • SAP knowledge is a plus.
