About the role
We now have a rare and exciting opportunity to join our team as our Manager, High Jewelry in our Sydney Office. Reporting to our Director, Client Relations & High Jewelry, you will be responsible for driving sales, client development activities, prestige sales and VVIP client development activities such as High Jewelry events and customised orders. You will play an integral role in building relationships with High Net Worth clients as well as coach our high potential Client Advisors to be High Jewelry Specialists.

Developing and building High Jewelry capabilities

About the role

Reporting to our Director, Client Relations & High Jewelry, you will be responsible for driving sales, client development activities, prestige sales and VVIP client development activities such as High Jewelry events and customised orders. You will play an integral role in building relationships with High Net Worth clients as well as coach our high potential Client Advisors to be High Jewelry Specialists.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Growing and developing the High Jewelry business in ANZ
- Support and maximize high ticket sales opportunities through intensified clienteling efforts and events participation
- Strengthen and cultivate relationships with new High Jewelry customers to meet High Jewelry yearly sales plan
Customer development and prospecting
- Assess local market opportunities to implement effective strategy to prospect right networks to cultivate new High Jewelry clients
- Support High Jewelry team in building High Jewelry portfolio client list both within the store and outside of the store environment
- Be the facilitator for all Custom Design Orders
- Work with merchandising to select and maximize local High Jewelry assortment
Developing and building High Jewelry capabilities
- Motivate and support all Client Advisors but mainly High Jewelry Consultant, Experts and Champions on all High Jewelry Opportunities (HJ Club)
- Conduct High Jewelry Training for ANZ Market
- Provide technical knowledge and clienteling expertise in store and at events to elevate client experience and provide sales support
Being a High Jewelry ambassador
- Represent ANZ in all High Jewelry related Global meetings/events
- Provide feedback on what would help ANZ High Jewelry initiatives
The ideal candidate will have:
- Minimum five years of retail/relevant business development, experience in luxury industries preferred
- Passion for Tiffany & Co. brand to share knowledge on a range of products, stones, history and services
- Solid knowledge base on gemstone, jewelry and timepieces - GIA certification is a plus
- A full understanding of the ANZ marketplace and client demographic, an established client book - highly desirable
- Strong negotiation skills with excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
- MS Office, computer knowledge
