AWWG is the global fashion group that integrates the brands Pepe Jeans London, Hackett, and Façonnable, and is the licensed distributor for Tommy Hilfiger and Calvin Klein in Spain and Portugal.

The project!:

As a part of our Consumer Engagement team, the Pepe Jeans Global Trade Marketing Manger will be responsible for executing the seasonal brand calendar across retail and wholesale channels, implementing the Go-To-Market strategy in retail stores, planning and executing clientele activations to drive traffic and retention, and coordinating communications related to retail activations.

What will the role entail?:

Internation trade marketing planning and execution:

  • Oversea Owned and managed global retail and wholesale trade marketing
    planning and execution.
  • Manage International Marketing specialist to work with and lead our partners’
    marketing teams to ensure strategic planning and local execution of global brand
    strategies in our international markets.
  • Coordinate and validate specific local initiatives/campaigns to supplement global
    strategies.
  •  Oversea and work closely with cross-functional global departments to ensure
    execution and understanding of Global Brand Marketing Strategies.
  • Work closely with Brand, Retail and Marketing teams to ensure that campaigns,
    plans and tools are fulfilling the needs of the business across the internationals
    channels.
  • Governance role in ensuring brand protection

Managed wholesale GTM plan:

  • Establish GTM marketing plans for each key account that are clearly linked to Global Brand Marketing Strategies.
  • Manage the Trade Marketing Coordinator to adapt and develop seasonal assets
    and activation programmes to drive a consistent and compelling message and
    experience to our target consumers.
  • Ensure communication within business functions and with wholesale partners to
    capture Insights and look to learn and optimise to ensure maximum ROI and
    brand growth in all partners point of sales.
  • Implement wholesale trade marketing actions to support sell through.
  • Track marketing activation activities and leverage insights to continuously
    improve marketing activation solutions.
  • Work alongside the Custom Studio team to facilitate and enhance Customisation Studio actions in key accounts.
  • Deliver reports of marketing activities on a monthly basis
  • Budget planning and tracking responsibilities

Own Retail:

  • Manage and develop retail activation strategies with Retail Marketing Manager to
    fulfill market needs, ensure global consistency.
  • Develop retail trade marketing actions to support sell through across all
    consumer channels from experiential, media, windows and signage.
  • Leverage best practices and ensure local retail activation consistency from Full
  • Price stores to Shop in Shop and Outlets, always looking for premium execution
    and operational excellence.
  • Support new stores opening with specific marketing plans (PR, media, event,
    interactive).
  • Work alongside the Custom Studio team to facilitate and enhance Customisation
    Studio actions in store.

Media planning and delivery:

  • Work and manage OOH, print and branding media across channels to ensure
    maximum brand and store visibility and traffic.
  • Be able to analysis and optimize media plans and spends to secure key ROI
    indicators across the season.
  • Work with the digital paid media team to ensure an overall full funnel consumer
    experience for the brand.
  • Be aware of digital only and online performance marketing when planning and
    developing brand and offline media plans.

Budget/ Project finance:

  • Monitor and report partners marketing budgets on a seasonal basis, and be
    positioned to readily identify spent, committed and planned status at all times in
    reference our Global brand strategy.
  • Provide insight that shape the strategic marketing plan to support the growth of
    the International business.Work with local brand marketing lead to deliver insights for the territory and
    measure effectiveness of campaigns and actions via set KPI’s.

Job competences:

  • At least 5+ years of marketing experience in retail brands, fashion, beauty, and luxury or communication agencies.
  • Fluency in English and Spanish is mandatory.
  • Technical requirements: Microsoft Office (PPT, Excel), Google Docs/Slides/Sheets
  •  Experience in retail, fashion, beauty or FMCG appreciated but not essential
    Passion for fashion, marketing, innovation, commercially minded with excellent
    time management, organization, and planning skills.
  • Media buying experience a must have.
  • Knowledge of international brands.

 What do we expect from you?:

  • This role will require close collaboration with internal stakeholders such as Retail Strategy, Visual Merchandising, Digital Marketing, Content Strategy, and Area Managers to optimize the consumer journey and increase brand experience, retention, and sales performance.
  • Excellent time management, organization, and planning skills.
  • Management of team of 2 coordinators so team management experience is
    essential.
  • Overseeing and working with various suppliers and agencies to deliver on time,
    high level executions across the retail and consumer facing channels.
  • Good self-starter, proactive and with great interpersonal skills. 
  • Excellent attention to detail with the ability to meet multiple project deadlines in
    a fast paced environment.
