Clients include: Paris Texas, THE IRISH TWIN, Cybex, Misela and two very exciting projects with global fashion brands taking place in early 2024 

Responsibilities: 

  • Facilitate the smooth running of daily functions of each account, providing support to the SE:COMMS team as requested and required 
  • Day-to-day client contact and managing client updates
  • Secure media coverage, features and news items 
  • Secure product placement on influencers and celebrities through loaning and gifting 
  • Assist in the creation of PR materials such as press releases 
  • Oversee and complete coverage reports accurately and effectively with the assistance of the Account Assistant 
  • Lead and manage client events, and external vendors and compile event reports with the help of the Account Assistant 
  • Brainstorm creative ideas and generate publicity strategies to enhance PR campaigns, going beyond the role of the press office 
  • Maintain regular day-to-day contact and close relationship with key press and influencers 
  • Lead on gifting initiatives and reach out to relevant influencers 
  • Be a brand champion for clients and build strong relationships with them 
  • Analyze coverage across online, offline, blogs and social media 
  • Conduct research on both brands, products, and industry to support the development of client plans and new business proposals 
  • Manage Account Assistant with the support of the Director and Founder  
  • Ensure production of quality work, on brief, on time, and on budget 
  • Develop new prospective client proposals with support from the Partner and Founder 
  • Demonstrate a sound understanding of the media developments and spot opportunities for SE:COMMS and clients 
  • Deliver coverage online, offline, in blogs, and leverage added value from all PR activity 
  • Monitor SE:COMMS client placement/exposure, ensuring all communication and activity are on-brand 
  • Work with the team to compile a seasonal calendar of PR activity 
  • Business development - attracting new business and identifying opportunities for new clients 

Essential Skills and Requirements:

  • Well-versed in the fashion industry and the PR world 
  • Black book of industry contacts in the womenswear fashion industry 
  • At least 3-4 years of relevant proven experience 
  • Familiarity with press reports and press clippings 
  • Ability to multi-task and manage multiple priorities
  • Excellent organisational skills and strong attention to detail, methodical, and efficient, with a good dose of common sense and initiative 
  • Knowledge of print, digital media, and social media platforms
  • Creative and strategic thinker 
  • Proactive, able to lead and take initiative on projects, with strong problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, and presentation skills 
  • Great attitude and ability to take direction and work with an action-oriented mindset 
  • Ability to handle pressure with equanimity and to thrive in an entrepreneurial, fast-paced, and accountability-focused organization
  • Ability to identify communication opportunities across multiple media platforms 
  • Discreet and professional 
  • Confidence to train and direct the work of junior team members
  • Strong computer skills including Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint
