VeeCollective is the fastest-growing premium bag brand from Germany. We produce unique products with ambitious goals. We sell our 100% recycled, feather-light, and versatile bags worldwide in luxury department stores, exclusive boutiques, and concept stores, through our own online shop, and at our flagship store in Berlin Mitte. Our small, international, and dedicated team shares a passion for our iconic bags, which offer customers a unique product in the Everyday Handbag segment.

As our e-commerce manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving our online sales and enhancing our brand presence in the digital space. You will be responsible for managing our e-commerce platform, implementing strategies to build exceptional user experience, and ensuring seamless integration of our digital marketing efforts.

Responsibilities:

  • Managing and optimizing our online shop, ensuring a seamless, user-friendly shopping experience and brand consistency.
  • Developing and executing our e-commerce strategy to maximize online sales and profitability.
  • Ownership of our upcoming project to build a new web shop on the existing system, focusing on enhancing and optimizing functionalities.
  • Collaborating with the brand and marketing team to create effective online campaigns and product launches.
  • Analyzing website traffic, user engagement metrics and report on the performance of ecommerce KPIs to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Managing product listings, descriptions, and inventory levels.
  • Overlooking and optimizing the product catalogue and website hierarchy.
  • Ensuring optimal website functionality for maximizing our impact and effectiveness of our merchandising strategies.
  • Overseeing customer service for online sales, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction
  • Working closely with logistics and supply chain partners to guarantee efficient order fulfillment.
  • Coordinating with the operations team to maintain accurate inventory management and timely order fulfilment.
  • Implementing efficient shipping and return processes to enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Staying updated on new e-commerce trends and technologies and implement them as appropriate.

Job Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience in e-commerce, with a preference for the fashion industry and a clear understanding of key processes and challenges in this sector.
  • Strong knowledge of e-commerce platforms, especially Shopify, including setup, management, and optimization.
  • Good eye for web design, with a focus on user experience.
  • Proficient in SEO and SEM strategies, with experience in implementing strategies that increase online visibility and traffic.
  • Skilled in using Google Analytics to track website performance, analyze user behavior, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Ability to analyze data, identify risks, capitalize on opportunities, and familiarity with data analysis tools and methodologies relevant to e-commerce.
  • Understanding of social media and digital marketing strategies.
  • Customer-centric mindset with a history of creative problem-solving.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Capable of working at pace, adapting to change, while remaining structured and organized.
  • Exceptional teamwork skills and comfortable working in a collaborative environment.
  • Passion for fashion and staying updated with industry trends, with a willingness to continuously learn and adapt.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Fluent in English and/or German, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
