Position Overview
The Buying Assistant for Ralph Lauren Home will be responsible for pulling and preparing weekly reports, analyzing sales and inventory, entering promotional pricing and buy units in the system.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Run, analyze and publish weekly selling reports
• Attend and participate in all buying and business-related meetings
• Enter price changes in the system (promotions/markdowns)
• Enter seasonal buys in the system (GFE+) and track purchase orders
• Define items in the system
• Assist with seasonal room change management
• Work with store and allocation teams on weekly ad hoc inventory needs
• Assist with stock models
• Perform weekly site sweeps to ensure product is on site
• Assist with assortment recommendations based on competitive marketplace
• Manage organization of samples and partner with marketing on sample handoffs for photoshoots

Experience, Skills & Knowledge

* Previous planning or buying experience
* Detailed and solution-oriented
* Ability to prioritize and multi-task
* Excellent presentation skills
* Microsoft Office knowledge; Advanced Excel skills including creating macros
