JOB PURPOSE

The intern will be an integral part of the Leather Goods product development team and will support activities related to the development of prototypes and samples.

The candidate will be trained to launch prototypes and samples so as to monitor the progress of product development and assist the PD Director with necessary documents for the sample warehouse.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Supporting the PD team in all daily activities such as ensuring suppliers are not missing any materials or components for launches.
  • Ensure all DDT documents are associated with goods received.
  • Involvement in ensuring all orders are passed to the BOM office and vendors.
  • Supporting PD in choosing colours for zips and threads for samples.
  • The role will work in direct contact with the sampling warehouse, BOM office, internal prototype lab, Metal hardware team, Raw material team and external suppliers.


PERSONAL PROFILE

  • Diploma or degree in economics-related studies, fashion or design.
  • Excellent knowledge of English written and spoken.
  • Confident user of Excel, Powerpoint and Teams. (Adobe programs are a plus).
  • Capable to interact confidently with various personality types within the wider teams and external suppliers.
  • Empathy and conscientiousness.
  • Organised and precision to details.
  • •Passionate for the luxury fashion industry.
